Supporting maintenance in both Upstream and Downstream areas – Including PP, HDPE, and LLDPE production units

Long Son Petrochemicals (LSP) is the first large-scale petrochemical complex in Vietnam, playing a strategic role in supplying key raw materials to the country’s manufacturing industries. Its main products include:

  • PP (Polypropylene)

  • HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene)

  • LLDPE (Linear Low-Density Polyethylene)

hese are essential base plastics widely used in packaging, piping, construction materials, and various industrial and consumer applications.

To ensure safe and efficient operations, maintenance and servicing of critical equipment are of paramount importance. Thien Son Industrial Joint Stock Company is honored to be the trusted partner selected to deploy nearly 100 highly skilled technical personnel to support maintenance activities in both the Upstream and Downstream areas of the LSP complex.

Personnel deployed across all major production areas

Upstream Area:
Includes the Cracking Unit, Utility, and Offsite areas where feedstock is processed. Thien Son’s teams are responsible for maintaining:

  • Heat exchangers and pressure vessels

  • Industrial compressors and pumps

  • Valves, pipelines, and supporting mechanical systems

Downstream Area:
Includes the production units for PP, HDPE, and LLDPE, which require precision technical work and strict compliance with safety and operational standards.

Scope of work undertaken by Thien Son:

Preventive and corrective maintenance of rotating and static equipment (pumps, compressors, tanks, exchangers, piping, etc.)
Support for shutdowns, turnarounds, commissioning, and test runs
On-site fabrication, repair, installation, and alignment of equipment
100% compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) and all quality and safety protocols required by LSP

All personnel are organized into structured teams led by experienced supervisors and engineers. Every worker is fully trained and qualified to meet the strict demands of petrochemical plant operations.
